About Bethel Methodist Oswego

Located in the Oswego Community of Sumter County, Bethel Methodist Oswego has a long history of serving its members through worship, Bible study, youth ministries, missions, and community outreach.

Bethel Methodist Oswego offers two Sunday worship services, Sunday School Classes, UMYF, Wednesday night prayer and Bible Study, and a monthly Sunshine Club for seniors. We host and run a  Summer Salkehatchie camp for youth.

Service Times

Sunday School hour is at 9:00 AM. There are many Sunday School classes available for all ages and Bible study interests.

Coffee & Donuts is at 10:00 AM. 

The Regular Worship is at 10:30 AM features traditional music and worship. (Nursery and Children’s Church are provided)

Bethel Methodist Oswego is located in the Oswego Community of Sumter County, For GPS navigation, our address is 5575 Lodebar Road, Sumter, SC.

If arriving from Sumter by Hwy 15, drive North on Hwy 15. After passing under the Hwy. 378/76 by-pass bridge, drive north for 5.1 miles, then turn right on East Foxworth Mill Road, continue for .4 mi., then turn left on Lodebar Road and travel 2.2 miles.

If arriving from Sumter by Hwy 401, drive North on Hwy 401. After passing under the Hwy 378/76 by-pass bridge, drive north for 5.2 miles. Just beyond Justice Farm Supply ( white building on your right), take the left fork onto Leonard Brown Road and travel 1.9 miles.
